The latest trailer for The Conjuring 2 has been unveiled. The sequel to the 2013 summer sleeper (which earned over $300 million worldwide and impressive critics and the movie-going public alike) continues the adventures of paranormal investigators Lorraine and Ed Warren (played by returning players Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson). James Wan (Furious 7) returns to the directors chair from a script credited to Carey Hayes and Chad Hayes (The Conjuring), David Leslie Johnson (Orphan) and Wan himself.
In the second outing, Lorraine and Ed travel to London to aid a single mother whose house appears to the stricken with nefarious spirits. As in the first film, The Conjuring 2 is based on true case files of the real life Warren couple. The sequels adds Franka Potente (Run Lola Run) and Frances O’Connor (A.I. Artificial Intelligence) to the cast.
