Charles Dance Reportedly Cast In ‘The Batman Part II’ Possibly Playing Christopher Dent

Charles Dance as Tywinn Lannister

Charles Dance has reportedly been cast in The Batman Part II. According to recent reports, the Game of Thrones actor could possibly be playing Christopher Dent, the father of Harvey Dent in The Batman Part II. If these reports are correct, Christopher Dent’s inclusion in The Batman Part II could mean the film might be adapting the Court of Owls comics storyline, in which the character of Christopher Dent played a significant role. Not much of the film’s narrative is officially known, as it’s being kept largely under wraps.

If Dance is cast, he would join Robert Pattinson, Zoë Kravitz, Collin Farrell, Andy Serkis, and Jeffrey Wright, who are all reportedly reprising their roles from the previous movie. Other actors reportedly joining this sequel include Sebastian Stan as Harvey Dent and Scarlett Johansson as Harvey Dent’s wife.

The Batman Part II will be the follow-up to 2022’s The Batman, which grossed approximately $772 million worldwide. Matt Reeves is returning to direct, with a screenplay by him and Mattson Tomlin.

Warner Bro and DC Studios are set to release The Batman Part II on October 1, 2027. It will not be connected to the extended DC Universe, as, like its predecessor, it will be set in its own standalone Batman world.
