‘Castle’ Star Molly C. Quinn Slated To Lead Religious Drama ‘Agnes’

It’s Molly C. Quinn’s time to shine again as the actress, best known for her role as Alexis Castle in the ABC smash hit Castle, is projected to star in a religious drama entitled Agnes. This film will be the second production released from her newly created QWGmire banner, according to Deadline.

Quinn will act as an executive producer on the film alongside her fellow staff members Elan Gale, who maintained an executive producing role on The Bachelor, as well as investor and technology expert Matthew Welty. The film will be directed by Mickey Reece of Climate of the Hunter fame, who also has a writing credit on the horror pic. The story revolves around a series of circulating rumors regarding the supernatural possession of a religious convent, which sparks a major investigation involving the religious community who are curious about these bizarre occurrences. A priest and his accomplice are later apprehended and questioned for bloodshed, lack of faith and other misdeeds.

Jake Horowitz will have a supporting role alongside Quinn, but further casting is underway in efforts to eye a January production date in Oklahoma. Quinn recently appeared as a guest star on The Fix and The InBetween and will return to the big screen once Agnes gets off the ground.
