Bruce Willis Brings Justice to the Streets in Trailer for ‘Death Wish’

Criminals don’t know what’s coming to them. Death Wish made it’s debut on the big screen nearly 43 years ago when Charles Bronson portrayed the loving husband and father whose life was destroyed when muggers attacked his family. After four sequels and much closer adaptation with Death Sentence, director Eli Roth (Hostel) is bringing back the vigilante who does what the police can’t — bring justice to the streets.

Bruce Willis (Die Hard) is Paul Kersey, man who is changed into a vigilante after his family is attacked. Vincent D’Onofrio (TV’s Law and Order Criminal Intent), Dean Norris (TV’s Breaking Bad), Elisabeth Shue (TV’s CSI), Mike Epps (Girls Trip), and Len Cariou (TV’s Blue Bloods) provide the supporting cast. The screenplay is credited to Joe Carnahan (The Grey) which is based on the 1972 novel of the same name that was written by Brian Garfield. The original Death Wish took place in Manhattan while this remake is located in Chicago.

They came for his family, now he’s coming for them. Vengeance comes to town on November 22nd.

Rick Rice: A kid at heart who has loved watching movies from a very young age. Credit must be given to Siskel and Ebert whose film reviews educated me on the world of film inspired me to become a writer myself. I love to read books that range from various topics, copious amounts of research is something that excites me and of course sitting in a movie theater is a highlight of my life. When I'm not watching movies or reading I enjoy listening to foreign music and working hard on finishing my short stories. Currently working on my degree in English with a plan to enroll into Film School with the dream of becoming a screenwriter and director.
