Set in the year 2575, the story begins with a difficult breakup between teenage hacker Kady and fighter pilot Ezra. However, the ex-couple’s hurt emotions have to be put on hold as suddenly their planet is plunged into the center of a war between two rival megacorporations. Forced to leave the planet, a plague sweeps through the evacuation ships and is quickly mutating. Just as terrifying if not more so, the ship’s main computer has turned rogue. On top of that, there appears to be a secret conspiracy including an enemy race. Kady and Ezra must race against time to uncover the real truth about what is happening and escape with their lives.
