Bob Odenkirk’s ‘Nobody’ Gets Earlier Release Date

Universal Pictures’s upcoming action film Nobody has new release date of March 26th instead of its original date of April 2nd. This means Nobody will be ahead of the easter-weekend release of Godzilla Vs. Kong, which is set to release on March 31st.

Bob Odenkirk, known for his role as Saul Goodman in Breaking Bad and its prequel Better Call Saul  is going to play Hutch Mansell in this John Wick-type film with creator Derek Kolstad writing the script. The film is directed by Ilya Naishuller (Hardcore Henry). According to Screen RantNobody will tell the story about an everyday suburban father, who helps a woman being harassed by a group of men, becoming the target of a vindictive drug lord. Slowly, his hidden secrets begin to unravel as well.

The movie is produced by David Leitch and has a huge cast including Connie Nielsen, Christopher Lloyd, RZA, and J.P. Manoux. With the John Wick franchise being so popular, it is safe to assume that Nobody will do well and be popular among audiences. As of yesterday, tt was announced that movie theaters will slightly reopen in NYC, with a 25% capacity on March 5th, which could be good news for Nobody, since action movies are best appreciated on the big screen.

Melissa Cusano: I love to escape reality with reading, writing, movies, and music! If I'm not working I love to go to concerts (pre-covid), play video games, and hang out with my dog Ozzi.
