Ben Affleck Thanks Fans For Reactions to ‘Justice League’ Snyder Cut

The nerds are finally getting what they want: the long awaited and debated Snyder Cut of 2017’s Justice League. Fan fervor over the release of the cut has been sweeping the Internet since its announcement and they couldn’t be more thrilled about it. Now it looks like the cast – or at least, Ben Affleck – has taken notice.

On Kevin Smith’s podcast Fat Man Beyond, Affleck expressed his gratitude to the fans in a video message: “I want to say thank you to the fans because it was their enthusiasm and their passion that made it happen. Without fan support, I don’t think it would have ever happened.” Clearly Affleck recognizes the power of fandom, as it did raise a movie that was three years dead back from the grave via extended cut.

Affleck also said that he’s “very excited that Zack is getting a chance to finally see his vision realized” and “I love Zack and I love his version of the movie, and I look forward to everyone getting a chance to see it.” Clearly Affleck is confident in Snyder’s version of the film – that’s probably a sign that fans should be too.

Affleck isn’t the only Justice League alumni thanking the fanbase. Aquaman actor Jason Momoa expressed his excitement on Instagram with a Justice League film poster and the caption: “all my aloha to everyone who made this happen. all the fans. we love you.” Likewise Ray Fisher, a.k.a. Cyborg, expressed his gratitude with the short and sweet message: “For those who fought. For those who believed. Thank you.”
