Batman and Harley Quinn Team Up in New Film Debuting in Theaters August 14th!

Batman and Nightwing work well together. The same can be said for The Joker and Harley Quinn — true partners in crime. But what would happen if the villain had to work with the good guys? Well, that’s exactly what happens in the new film Batman and Harley Quinn, making its debut on the big screen for a one night show on August 14th. The film is directed by Sam Liu, who has worked on numerous animated films for Marvel Entertainment and Warner Bros. Animation, with Batman: The Killing Joke being his most recent film. The screenplay is written by Bruce Timm (TV’s Gotham) and James Krieg (TV’s Legend Quest).

The plot involves Batman and Nightwing being forced to work with Harley Quinn to stop Poison Ivy and Jason Woodrue, a.k.a The Floronic Man, from starting a global threat which threatens all humanity. It seems that a super-villain is needed to help our caped crusader. Featuring the voice work of Kevin Conroy (Justice League Action), Loren Lester (Chicanery), Melissa Rauch (TV’s The Big Bang Theory), and Paget Brewster (TV’s Criminal Minds); Batman and Harley Quinn looks to be quite an adventure.

When evil goes green, nature takes a deadly turn. Batman and Harley Quinn arrive on the big screen for one night only on August 14th. Grab your tickets now.

Rick Rice: A kid at heart who has loved watching movies from a very young age. Credit must be given to Siskel and Ebert whose film reviews educated me on the world of film inspired me to become a writer myself. I love to read books that range from various topics, copious amounts of research is something that excites me and of course sitting in a movie theater is a highlight of my life. When I'm not watching movies or reading I enjoy listening to foreign music and working hard on finishing my short stories. Currently working on my degree in English with a plan to enroll into Film School with the dream of becoming a screenwriter and director.
