Arnold Schwarzenegger Named Netflix’s New “Chief Action Officer”

In a released Netflix trailer, Arnold Schwarzenegger was announced to be Netflix’s Chief Action Officer. Schwarzenegger is known for his starring roles in The Terminator, Expendables, True Lies, and Total Recall, as well as being a well-known bodybuilder and even a former Governor of California. Now, he is set to star in FUBAR, created by Netflix.

The trailer, which showcases several new releases coming this summer on Netflix, gives Schwarzenegger the title “Chief Action Officer,” explaining, “No one loves action as much as I do.” The comedic trailer promotes Netflix’s Extraction 2, season 3 of The Witcher, Heart of Stone, The Night Agent, The Mother, The Brothers Sun, Lift, and FUBAR. Schwarzenegger ends the trailer by saying, “Nobody knows action like I do, and nobody hits like Netflix.”

According to IMDb, FUBAR follows “A C.I.A. operative on the edge of retirement [that] discovers a family secret and is called back into the field for one last job.” Comicbook goes into more detail, explaining, “…he’s called up for one last undercover mission: saving another operative that just happens to be his daughter. The series tackles universal family dynamics against a global backdrop of spies, action, and humor.” The series will be available for streaming starting May 25th on Netflix.
