Amy Schumer Comedy ‘I Feel Pretty’ Brings On Comedian Rory Scovel

A new comedy titled I Feel Pretty has added comedian and actor Rory Scovel to its cast, according to the Hollywood Reporter. Scovel is known for his appearances on television shows Ground Floor and Undateable. He was last seen playing Joe in the comedy The House.

I Feel Pretty features Amy Schumer (Trainwreck, Seeking a Friend for the End of the World) as Renee Barrett, who is a woman struggling with her body image and other insecurities. Once she injures her head and wakes up, she has suddenly gained a significant amount of confidence, causing her to be more aggressive and brave than she has ever been before. Scovel will play a man who likes the new confidence in Barrett.

I Feel Pretty already has a fairly strong supporting cast, including Michelle Williams (Manchester By the Sea, My Week With Marilyn), Adrian Martinez (Focus, The Secret Life of Walter Mitty), Emily Ratajkowski (Gone Girl, Entourage), and Kevin Kane (Trainwreck, Snatched). Rafe Spall was on the cast, but unfortunately had to be dropped for Scovel for unforeseen circumstances that prevented him from signing on. The film is the directorial debut for both Abby Kohn (How to Be Single, The Vow) and Marc Silverstein (He’s Just Not That Into You, Valentine’s Day), who are also co-writing the film together. Production has begun, with the film currently holding a 2018 release
