Amazon Studios Brings Romance to the ‘Cold War’ Official Trailer

The next passionate romance based out of war is getting its own movie as the trailer for foreign-language film, Cold War, debuted today. Directed by Award winning writer director, Pawel Pawlikowski (Ida), Cold War features a man and a woman who meet in the ruins of post-war Poland and through different backgrounds and temperaments are fatefully mismatched and condemned to each other.

The film stars Joanna Kulig and Tomasz Kot. The trailer uses conceits of classic silent films set under the vocal stylings of one of its main characters. Cold War is set to be Poland’s entry into this year’s Academy Awards foreign film race.
