Amazon MGM Studios has released the official trailer for Crime 101, a thriller starring Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Barry Keoghan, and Halle Berry. Set in Los Angeles, the story follows a polished thief, Davis (Hemsworth), who pulls off a string of high-stakes crimes along the 101 freeway.
The trailer opens with a tense yet cordial exchange at a valet stand between Davis and an insurance broker, Sharon (Berry). The tone quickly shifts with shots of Davis holding captives at gunpoint. He and Sharon eventually agree to team up for his final, high-risk heist.
Meanwhile, the police, desperate to stop the next heist, are seen in a briefing room where Detective Lou Lubesnick (Ruffalo) remarks, “Now, remove every robbery where there was DNA left at the scene. I think all of these are the same guy and he hits every time along the 101 freeway.”
As the stakes rise, the detective is seen inside a vehicle driven by Davis, setting the stage for a confrontation. The action escalates with cars flipping, Keoghan racing through a motorcycle chase, and bullets shattering windows.
Based on the novella of the same name, Crime 101 is written and directed by Bart Layton. Monica Barbaro, Corey Hawkins, Jennifer Jason Leigh, and Nick Nolte round out the supporting cast.
Crime 101 hits theaters exclusively on February 13, 2026.
