Amanda Seyfried Joins ‘You Should Have Left’

Amanda Seyfried and Kevin Bacon will star in the Blumhouse Productions thriller You Should Have Left, which is based off the novel by Daniel Kehlmann. David Koepp, who wrote the screenplays for Jurassic Park and Spider-Man (2002), will be directing.

Seyfried reprised her role as Meryl Streep’s daughter, Sophie Sheridan, in Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again, which hits theaters on July 20. Her previous previous horror and thriller credits include Jennifer’s Body (2009) and In Time (2012).

You Should Have Left follows a wealthy couple, played by Bacon and Seyfried, while they’re stuck in a remote location, grappling with their mistrust for each other, and contending with possible supernatural influences.

Production for You Should Have Left is set to begin later this year.
