‘All of Us Strangers’ Releases New Trailer Starring Andrew Scott And Paul Mescal

A new trailer for All of Us Strangers, starring Andrew Scott and Paul Mescal, has been released. Directed by Andrew Haigh and set in modern-day London, Scott’s character Adam has a chance encounter with his neighbor, Harry (Mescal), one night near his apartment. As the relationship between them grows, Adam is drawn to the town he grew up in, where his parents died 30 years earlier.

The trailer is set to the Pet Shop Boys’ “Always on My Mind.” The film itself is loosely based on the 1987 novel Strangers by Taichi Yamada.

“It’s funny,” Harry says in the trailer, which captures the ethereality of their relationships and their feelings about the past. “It doesn’t take much to make you feel the way you did back then.”

“I’d always felt alone,” Adam says. “This is a new feeling.”

The film was directed by Andrew Haigh and was produced by Graham Broadbent, Peter Czernin, and Sarah Harvey under Blueprint Films and Film4. Searchlight Pictures will be in charge of the distribution of the film.

All of Us Strangers is set to release in theaters on Dec. 22 in the United States and on Jan. 24, 2024 in the United Kingdom. It previously premiered at the 50th Telluride Film Festival on Aug. 31 to critical acclaim.
