Talents like Riz Ahmed and John Goodman have both starred in a huge number of roles across their careers.

Ahmed, who was also up for an Academy Award, has had his own foray into franchise films, with Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and Venom, while also taking on smaller films with Sound Of Metal and Nightcrawler. Goodman, on the other hand, has credits to his name like 10 Cloverfield Lane, Monsters Inc., The Big Lebowski, and even a number of TV shows.

Iñárritu himself is no stranger to boasting acclaimed titles to his name. He’s responsible for writing, directing, and producing Birdman or (The Unexpected Virtue Of Ignorance) and The Revenant, both of which were critical darlings and won a number of Academy Awards.

Deadline, who reported on the new castings for the film, also noted that they originally broke the news that Cruise will a producer on the film.
