Adeline Rudolph, Audra McDonald, And Dylan McDermott Join Amazon MGM Studios Tennis Romance ‘Love Love’

Amazon MGM Studios has expanded the ensemble cast for its upcoming sports romantic comedy Love Love, adding Adeline Rudolph, six-time Tony Award winner Audra McDonald, and Dylan McDermott to the production. Directed by Joey Power (Banana Split), the film stars Isabel May (1883, Scream 7) and Tyriq Withers (The Spook Who Sat by the Door). Written by Power alongside Daniel Sweren-Becker, the narrative follows a professional tennis prodigy navigating career struggles who develops an unexpected romantic relationship with a local ball boy during the US Open tournament. Their personal connection becomes an emotional catalyst as she attempts to reach the championship finals. Specific roles for Rudolph, McDonald, and McDermott have not yet been disclosed by the studio.

The project is scheduled to begin principal photography in New York in the fall of 2026. Joe Roth and Jeff Kirschenbaum are producing under their RK Films banner alongside Ari Lubet and Jonathan Berry for 3 Arts Entertainment. Director Power, lead actors May and Withers, and Alyssa Altman serve as executive producers on the feature.

Rudolph recently completed production on New Line Cinema’s Mortal Kombat II and is currently filming Netflix’s 13 Going on 30 reboot. Her upcoming slate also includes Prime Video’s Reacher spinoff series Neagley and the thriller Perfect Girl.

McDonald, known for her historic six Tony Awards, currently appears in HBO’s period drama The Gilded Age, with recent feature film credits including Ava DuVernay’s Origin and George C. Wolfe’s Rustin. McDermott recently completed a multi-season run starring in and executive producing CBS’s procedural series FBI: Most Wanted.

Amazon MGM Studios has not yet announced a formal theatrical release window or streaming premiere date for the feature.
