Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston Join the Cast of ‘Murder Mystery’

Adam Sandler has been making killing in Netflix films. He has already featured in four different films including The Meyerowitz Stories (New and Selected)Sandy Wexler, and The Do-Over. He already has fifth film on the way titled The Week Of, and has officially joined yet another film that he’ll headline with an old co-star. Sandler and Jennifer Aniston, after teaming up to act in movie rom-com Just Go With It, have both officially signed on to the Netflix film Murder Mystery, according to Variety.

Murder Mystery focuses on the story of an American policeman and his wife. Though they go to Europe hoping for a relaxing vacation, they quickly become in over their heads, as authorities believe they have killed an older billionaire. It is then up to the couple to clear their names before they are wrongly arrested and jailed.

We can safely assume that the film will have a more humorous tone because the film is being directed by Workaholics co-creater Kyle Newacheck. James Vanderbilt penned the script. The movie is currently in pre-production and could possibly begin filming sometime this summer or fall. We can most likely expect a film release sometime early next year.
