In a report by Variety using numbers sourced from Comscore, the film made £2.6 million (approximately $3.2 million).
In second place was Disney’s Mufasa: The Lion King, with the Lion King prequel standing firm on its fifth weekend, making $1.9 million, with a total gross of $32.2 million in the region. Paramount’s Sonic the Hedgehog 3 was in third place, making $1.3 million in its fourth weekend, with a total UK and Ireland gross of $27.3 million. In fourth place was Universal’s Nosferatu, with the gothic horror movie making $1.3 million in its third week, making for a total gross of $13.3 million in the region. Finishing out the top 5 was Studiocanal’s We Live in Time. The romantic drama, starring Andrew Garfield and Florence Pugh, made $1 million in its third weekend, making its current gross in the region $8.3 million.
For upcoming releases, like many parts of the world, the UK and Ireland can look forward to a packed weekend, starting with Flight Risk, the Mark Wahlberg-centered thriller directed by Mel Gibson. Also releasing this weekend is the award-season favorite The Brutalist, distributed by Universal in the UK and Ireland, and the Steven Soderbergh-directed supernatural horror movie Presence, distributed by Picturehouse Entertainment in the region.
