10 Movies Coming To Netflix In July

If you feel like you’ve cleaned out the Netflix catalog, don’t worry, there’s more content coming to the platform in July. Here’s ten movies (of many) coming to Netflix at the beginning of next month:

  1. Paranormal Activity: the 2007 low-budget horror film that is the genesis of the famous horror franchise; a young married couple move into a house that they quickly discover is haunted by a poltergeist.
  2. Sleepless In Seattle: the Nora Ephron-directed romantic comedy from the 1990s starring Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan that isn’t You’ve Got Mail. A reporter in an unsatisfying relationship falls in love with a grieving widower whose story she hears over the radio, and she writes a letter to him asking him to meet her at the top of the Empire State Building on Valentine’s Day.
  3. Clash of the Titans (1981): based on stories from Greek mythology, the demigod Perseus faces many trials in his quest to marry the Princess Andromeda, including the Kraken and Medusa.
  4. The Karate Kid (1984): after a kid moves to a new town and enters a new high school, he immediately becomes the target of a group of bullies. He turns to a martial arts master to learn how to master karate in order to defend himself, leading to his entering a karate competition.
  5. Airplane!: an off-the-wall parody of the disaster film genre; a ex-pilot with PTSD finds himself on a doomed flight with his estranged ex-girlfriend and a plane full of passenger who have fallen victim to a mysterious illness.
  6. Pride and Prejudice (2005): directed by Joe Wright and starring Keira Knightley and Matthew Macfadyen, and an adaptation of the classic novel by Jane Austen, a headstrong woman is spurned by an arrogant man, yet they both find themselves reluctantly falling in love.
  7. A Walk To Remember: based on the novel by Nicholas Sparks, a rebellious teenager falls in love with the chaste daughter of the local minister, who is dying of cancer. They decide to make her last days worth as much as possible.
  8. Cloud Atlas: directed by the Wachowski sisters, several people are reincarnated over the span of several lifetimes, and meet in several different ways. Starring Tom Hanks, Halle Berry, Jim Sturgess, Hugo Weaving, Susan Sarandon, Ben Whishaw, and Jim Broadbent.
  9. Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events: not to be confused with the Netflix series based on the same series of books; three siblings suddenly find themselves orphaned and in the hands of an insidious guardian (Jim Carrey) who plots to abscond with their forture.
  10. The Kissing Booth 2: the sequel to 2018 rom com based on a Wattpad novel, starring Joey King, Jacob Elordi, and Joel Courtney.
