After the success of Straight Outta Compton, which chronicled the rise and fall of N.W.A and the Oscar-nominated documentary Tupac: Resurrection, it comes as no surprise that the life of late rapper Tupac Shakur is hitting the silver screen.
A brand new teaser for the drama hit the internet Tuesday the 13th marking the 20th anniversary of Tupac’s death. The trailer navigates the audience through his illustrious career, shortened by greed induced violence, which ultimately leads to his untimely end.

Santana, Grace Gibson, and Jamal Woolard, who reprises his role as Biggie Smalls (Notorious, 2009). All Eyez on Me is directed by Benny Boom, who is well-known in the music industry for his popular music videos in the early 2000’s. Boom is no stranger to feature films, his other credits include Next Day Air and S.W.A.T.: Firefight.
