Curry Barker’s Obsession is now available to stream on Amazon Prime Video and Apple TV. The movie is priced at 19.99 to rent and 24.99 to buy on Amazon Prime with some features. The movie was released on May 15th of this year and stars Inde Navarrette (Superman & Louis) and Michael Johnston (Teen Wolf). The plot follows their characters as they become cursed. Johnston’s character, Bear, wishes for Navarrette’s character, Nikki, to be obsessed with him and ends up not liking how the wish turns out.

The movie was Barker’s directorial debut, as before this film, he had worked on small projects. Barker said in an interview with IndieWire,

The genesis was the idea that we as humans can obsess over things… Movies like ‘Misery’ inspired me… ‘Oh, this is about a woman who’s obsessed with an author that she’s fantasized in her head what this type of man is and she has an idea of who he is and she captures him.’ That was the general idea. And then, when I came up with the wish part of it, it all started to click for me.

At this time, there is no confirmation of the movie being streamed anywhere else.
