Paramount Pictures has released the trailer for Heart of the Beast, a new film directed by David Ayer (End of Watch), starring Brad Pitt (F1). The movie description for the trailer stated,
Heart of the Beast is an intense adventure thriller that explores the unbreakable bond between a man and his best friend as they face their greatest battle yet.
The trailer begins with Special Forces officer James Belmont (Pitt) playing and conversing with his dog Odin. While they sleep, Odin begins to have flashbacks of the war and begins to bark as if they are enemies nearby, but Belmont wakes up and reassures him that “they are not there anymore.” The rest of the trailer gives the audience a surface-level idea of what the relationship is like between Odin and Belmont with J.K. Simmons'(Whiplash) character asking about the person responsible for Odin’s war scars to which Belmont replies, “I shot him in the head.” After that brief scene the rest of the trailer shows the conflict that Belmont and Odin must overcome, a plane crash in the middle of the Alaskan Wilderness.
