Actress/Singer Selena Gomez is joined by Sebastian Stan and Kate Winslet as actors each nominated for multiple Golden Globe recognitions at the 2025 ceremony. This year, all three actors have scored multiple nominations across a variety of projects.
2025 marks the third consecutive year Gomez has earned a nomination for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Television Musical or Comedy for her role as Mabel in Only Murders in the Building. Concurrently, she’s also up for Best Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture for her work in the Oscar-buzzing Emilia Pérez, directed by Jacques Audiard.
In response to the news of the nomination, Gomez shared a video of herself to Instagram Stories. The actress shared how “grateful and honored” she was to be considered, as well as voicing support to other actresses in the category, including co-star Zoe Saldaña and Wicked star Ariana Grande.
Sebastian Stan has also received two Leading Golden Globe nods, one for his portrayal of Donald Trump in The Apprentice and one for his work in A Different Man. He is nominated for Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Motion Picture Drama and Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Motion Picture Musical or Comedy, respectively. Stan has already received praise for his performances, taking home the Best Actor prize for A Different Man at this year’s Berlin International Film Festival.
Kate Winslet receives two nominations apiece, one for Best Actress in Drama Film for her performance in the war drama Lee, as well as a nomination for Best Actress in a Limited Series, Anthology Series, or Movie Made for TV for The Regime.
The Golden Globes will be held on Sunday, January 5th, 2025. The ceremony will be aired on CBS.
