The journey to Zack Snyder’s Justice League has been a bumpy one to say the least and a painful one to say the most. However, now with a confirmed 2021 release date and thousands, if not millions, of fans behind it, now is a better time than any to be a DC fan. But with that, you’d think Snyder and his team would be a part of Comic-Con. No, instead, they forgone the big studio Comic-Con style of promotion to instead be a part of the smaller more personal Justice Con — a move many fans have respected.
Over the course of the last month, Zack has teased something small for his panel at Justice Con. That something small was the reveal of Black Suit Superman. Amongst the questions about the filmmaking process and t-shirts for fans, we got a sneak preview of Henry Cavill’s Superman in his iconic Black Suit.
Not only that, but Zack confirmed a number of new details. One, Superman will ONLY be in the black suit. No red, yellow, and blues for the big blue boy scout. Two, an actual trailer will be ready for next month’s DC FANDOME. Three, Junkie XL (the original composer for Justice League) is hard at work getting the score just right.
It appears that everyone involved is desperate to make this the best thing for the fans as humanly possible. And despite the backlash from some news outlets, criticizing the film for being anti-consumer and anti-fan — a sentiment that no fan or even HBOMAX shares — it seems like Zack Snyder’s Justice League is shaping up to be something more than truly special. We’ll have to wait and see when it releases in 2021.
