Zachary Levi Considers Timothée Chalamet For Playing Flynn In Potential ‘Tangled’ Live-Action Remake

Zachary Levi is currently celebrating the release of his film, Harold and the Purple Crayon. At its world premiere, Entertainment Weekly asked him if he would rephrase his role as Flynn in the rumored live-action Tangled remake. “I mean, he’s already getting every other job but probably Timothée Chalamet?… Unfortunately, I feel like I’m a little old — and that I don’t know all of the younger actors that could be that guy.”

Tangled was a huge hit when it was released in theaters back in 2010. Its song, “I See the Light,” was even nominated for an Academy Award. Based on the Grimm brothers’ fairy tale, the film follows Rapunzel as she tries to see the floating lanterns for her eighteenth birthday. To do so, she blackmails a wanted thief named Flynn Rider to escort her to the kingdom.

Considering how Disney is remaking many of their classic animated features, there are rumors that a Tangled remake could be in the works. Therefore, fans are guessing about who would star in the leading roles. According to Bustle, the voice of Rapunzel, Mandy Moore, wants to pass the crown over to Sabrina Carpenter.
