The already starry cast of James Franco’s upcoming In Dubious Battle keeps getting starrier, with the announcement that Zach Braff and The Hunger Games star Josh Hutcherson will be joining the film, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Franco’s John Steinbeck adaptation has just begun principal photography in Georgia.
Braff, who helmed and starred in last year’s Wish I Was Here, and Hutcherson join an already impressive cast that includes Vincent D’Onofrio, Bryan Cranston, Robert Duvall (Wild Horses), Ed Harris, and Franco himself, among others. Nat Wolff (The Fault in our Stars and the upcoming Paper Towns) was recently announced as the lead in the project, which is based on Steinbeck’s 1936 novel about California’s labor movement in the 1930s.
Analeigh Tipton, Ashley Greene, and Ahna O’Reilly were also recently added to the star-studded roster. Franco is reuniting with screenwriter Matt Rager, who worked with him on his 2014 adaptation of William Faulkner’s The Sound and the Fury.
In Dubious Battle is eyeing a release later this year.
