Looney Tunes has forever been a classic animation cartoon that continues to live on throughout the generations. Last summer Bugs Bunny and the gang did a sequel to the popular 90s Space Jam with King James. But this time, Warner Bros announced a live-action, animated feature starring Wile E. Coyote. The poor desert coyote continues to fall, victim to Acme Corporation’s faulty product that continues to send him plumping off a cliff or into a mountain or faulty explosives that blow back up in his face.
Will Forte from SNL has signed on to star alongside Lana Condor and John Cena in Warner Bros Looney Tunes animated live-action Coyote vs. Acme. Warner Bros will have Dave Green (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows) as the director, with Samy Burch.
So by its title name Coyote vs. Acme, it is already assumed that Wile E. Coyote has finally had enough of Acme’s failed products that have nearly killed him in the past. Wile E. Coyote will sue Acme for poor negligence. Will Forte will be playing Coyote’s lawyer, and John Cena will be Forte’s former boss.
Coyote vs. Acme is set for its theatrical debut on July 21, 2023.
