Comedy heavyweights Will Ferrell and Kevin Hart get thrown together in this year’s box office draw Get Hard, coming to theaters March 27th – and the new red band trailer is pretty much exactly what you’d expect.
Racial jokes, twerking, dropping f-bombs, and shirtless neo-Nazis are most likely only a handful of the things this movie has in store for audiences.
Warner Bros. was quick to pair up the odd and unlikely duo, accentuating their unlikeliness even further by making Ferrell (Anchorman, Step Brothers) the mansion-owning yuppy white guy and Hart (The Wedding Ringer, Think Like A Man Too) the perceived black criminal (even though his character is, in actuality, the complete opposite of a thug).
Warner Bros. is premiering Get Hard at the 2015 SXSW Film Festival in early March before releasing it nationwide, no doubt hoping to echo the success of their last R-Rated buddy comedy Neighbors, which also had an advanced screening at last year’s SXSW festival.
