The third trailer for Shane Black‘s newest comedy, The Nice Guys, shows the antics of the detective duo of Holland March and Jackson Healy played by Ryan Gosling (Drive), and Russell Crowe (Gladiator).
Taking place in Los Angeles during 1977, Healy takes on the case to inspect the suicide of a porn star. During the case the two uncover a conspiracy leading them to be in over their heads against the mob.
Writer and director Shane Black came to fame for his action comedy movies such as the Lethal Weapons series, and Kiss Kiss Bang Bang. This film feels like a breath of fresh air for action fans, as well as comedy fans and come May 20th we will see if The Nice Guys delivers. The film will make its world premiere out of competition at the upcoming Cannes Film Festival.
