Wakanda Dominated MTV Movie Awards

Marvel’s Black Panther stole the show at last night’s MTV Movie Awards, which taped Saturday night and aired on Viacom networks yesterday. The Wakandan King took home four awards including Best Motion Picture, as well as Chadwick Boseman, who took home two awards for Best Hero and Best Performance, and Michael B. Jordan for Best Villain.

The award show was hosted this year by Girl’s Trip Tiffany Haddish at Santa Monica’s Barker Hangar. Haddish, as well, earned an award for her comedic performance in the film. Amongst the other awards were Best Kiss, that went to the Gay love film, Love Simon and its actors, Nick Robinson and Keiynan Lonsdale, who accepted the award for the film. The Steven King thriller It took Best On-Screen Team, and Wonder Woman took home Best Fight against the German Soldiers.
