Tyler Perry’s new Netflix thriller, Confabulation, takes on Lucien Laviscount (Snatch), Taylour Paige (Zola) and Shamier Anderson (Race) as cast members. According to Deadline the movie follows a firefighter with a troubling past that rescues his high school sweetheart from her husband which leads him to questioning reality. Others in the cast include, Nadine Ellis (Hairspray), Peter Parros (Real Genius), Najah Bradley (I Love Boosters), Mikeal Dwayne Griggs (The Groomsman), Jenna Nolen (A La Carte), Michelle Núñez (The Rookie: Feds), Colin McCalla (Ballard) and Shelley Robertson (Bel-Air).
Written, directed and produce by Perry, this movie will be his 11tth project under his partnership with Netflix. His latest was his latest project was release this year and was titled Why Did I get Married Again?, the third movie it’s series. The film saw the return of cast members that span from the first movie, Why Did I Get Married?, that released back in 2007. One new cast member added to the series was Taraji P. Henson (Hustle & Flow). In a interview with moviefone, Henson said,”…I was a little nervous to join a franchise that is so beloved. Because people aren’t rushing to Netflix to see me. They’re looking to catch up on the characters that they fell in love with 15 years ago. I was just honored and grateful that they embraced me.”
