The Dreamworks animated movie Trolls is getting a sequel. This new movie will be called Trolls World Tour. A trailer for the movie has already been released. The trailer reveals that the plot of this new sequel will take place a short time after the ending of the original Trolls. In this sequel the main characters Branch and Poppy must travel around the world of the Trolls in order to unite the six Troll kingdoms. Each of the Troll kingdoms represents a different style of music including pop, funk, techno, classical, country, and rock. Unfortunately for the heroes the rock kingdom is ruled by a wicked Troll named Queen Barb, who plans on conquering the other kingdoms and destroying the other five musical genres.
Queen Barb will be voiced by the Crazy Ex-Girlfriend star Rachel Bloom, while Anna Kendrick and Justin Timberlake will be reprising their roles as the protagonists Poppy and Branch respectively. Trolls World Tour will be directed by Walt Dohrn and David P. Smith. The movie is set to release in the spring of 2020 and the new trailer can be seen below.
