Trevor Noah to Produce Standalone Documentary Series ‘The Tipping Point’, Unpacking Political and Cultural Issues

With his weekly monologue and news satire show, The Daily Show, host Trevor Noah has new project, and it’s not that much different from his usual day-t0-day role as host on The Daily Show. The project is a standalone documentary series entitled The Tipping PointDeadline reports.

Noah has a special skill for dissecting significant political and cultural issues with humor. With such talent at navigating the terrain of politics, culture, and societal stories all over the world, help producing documentaries will be easy peasy.

Time Studios, Noah’s Day Zero Productions, Sugar23, and P&G Studios are collaborating on The Tipping Point, a standalone documentary series that will address the era’s major concerns, ranging from voting rights to civil rights, human rights to healthcare, American democracy to the worldwide refugee crisis.

“I am excited to be working with TIME Studios, Sugar23, and P&G Studios on this important documentary series during one of the most fascinating and challenging periods in modern history. I hope these documentaries will act as a mirror to our society and showcase our resiliency while providing hope for the path ahead,” said Noah in a statement about The Tipping Point.

Because there are so many challenging and controversial topics, it can’t be fit into just one documentary or docu-series, so each film in The Tipping Point will get a standalone documentary. It’s only right each topic gets a fair amount of screen time.

I want to write something outside the normal, something no one would think to write about in a unique way. It also shows how far I am willing to go to produce something amazing that will get more readers interested in the world of Journalism. I am on my way to making a professional life for myself.
