Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross, the musical duo behind Nine-Inch Nails, are officially scoring David Fincher’s next film, The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth. The two have scored Fincher’s last six films, dating back to The Social Network in 2010. The two won an Oscar for Best Original Score for that film. Other films they collaborated on include Gone Girl and The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo. Other recent films they have worked on include Tron: Ares, After the Hunt and The Gorge.

The Further Misadventures of Cliff Booth is a continuation of Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood from 2019. The film starred Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio and followed a washed-up actor (DiCaprio) and stuntman (Pitt) through the craziness of Hollywood. Fincher’s new film is directed off a script written by Tarantino, who opted out of directing the sequel.

The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth hits IMAX theaters on November 25, and then lands on Netflix on December 23, 2026.
