A new trailer has been released for the upcoming thriller, Knox Goes Away. The film is directed by and stars Michael Keaton.
Keaton has gained an extensive reputation as an actor, with a wealth of both movie and television roles to his name. In the world of film, some of his best-known roles come from Beetlejuice as the titular poltergeist, the Oscar-winning Birdman Or (The Unexpected Virtue Of Ignorance), and for his role as the caped crusader in Tim Burton’s 1989 take on Batman.
Knox Goes Away marks Keaton’s second time in the director’s chair, following 2008’s The Merry Gentlemen. The film follows a skilled hitman who receives a diagnosis of a rare, fast-acting case of dementia. After the diagnosis, the hitman’s son comes back into his life, seeking his father’s help, but the further involved he gets, the worse his case gets, leaving him unable to trust anyone.
As stated, Keaton headlines the movie as the hitman, and stars alongside Al Pacino, James Marsden, Joanna Kulig, and Marcia Gay Harden.
As Hollywood Reporter points out, the film made its debut at the Toronto Film Festival, and sports mixed scores, with an 8.1 on IMDb, and 46% critic score on Rotten Tomatoes.
