A trailer for a new Dracula movie, Dracula: A Love Tale, has been released. The romantic fantasy stars Caleb Landry Jones, Christoph Waltz, Zoë Bleu, Guillaume de Tonquedec and Matilda de Angelis.

The trailer opens with a voiceover from Waltz’s priest character, who declares, “My order has been studying this for 400 years and you’re the first to have captured a specimen alive.” The line is followed by a rapid montage of gothic imagery, revealing a shadowy world with religious iconography and dread.

The story centers on a 15th-century prince (Jones) who witnesses the brutal murder of his wife (Bleu). After renouncing God, he is reborn as Dracula, embarking on a violent crusade to reclaim his love from death.

SAG award-winner Jones, who won the award for his role in Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri, also received the Best Actor prize at the 2021 Cannes Film Festival for Nitram. He stars opposite two-time Oscar winner Waltz, recognized for his acclaimed performances in Quentin Tarantino films.

The film is written, directed & produced by Luc Besson (The Fifth Element), with music composed by Danny Elfman, whose credits include Good Will Hunting, Batman and Men in Black.

Vertical acquired U.S. theatrical distribution rights, while Signature Entertainment will release the film in the U.K. and Ireland. The film debuted in France on July 30, 2025.

Dracula: A Love Tale opens in theaters nationwide on February 6, 2026.
