The new Spider-Man costume Tom Holland will be wearing in the upcoming Spider-Man: Brand New Day has been revealed. The suit was revealed in a teaser video posted on Saturday by Sony Pictures on their social media.
In the teaser, Tom Holland is seen in shadow in a warehouse before moving closer to the camera, providing a good look at the new suit he will be wearing in Brand New Day. Perceptive fans will notice that the warehouse used for the teaser is the same one Marvel Studios used for the cast reveal livestream for Avengers: Doomsday that was held back in March.
Not much is known about Brand New Day’s story. All that’s known is that the film will be a “street-level Spider-Man story” rather than the global or multiversal stakes of the previous two Tom Holland Spider-Man movies. Jon Bernthal’s Frank Castle/The Punisher has already been confirmed as part of the cast. The film will be written by Eric Sommers and Chris McKenna, two of the writers of the previous Tom Holland Spider-Man trilogy. It will be the first Tom Holland Spider-Man movie not to be directed by Jon Watts, with Shang-Chi director Destin Daniel Cretton directing instead.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day will be released in standard and large-format theaters on July 30th, 2026.
