Kelly Marcel is all set to direct Sony Studios and Marvel’s, Venom 3, after producing the first two movies. The project is in really early development, but we know that Tom Hardy is set to return as the lethal protector of Venom, one of Sony’s savage Marvel characters. 

In the film, Hardy stars as journalist Eddie Brock and his unorthodox parasite Venom. Venom last appeared in the Marvel universe at the end of Spider-Man: No Way Home, but it is unclear where our villain falls in place with other Sony Marvel Universe Characters like Morbius, as well as Kraven the Hunter and Madame Web, they have plans of releasing standalone movies for these characters, so there are possibilities that some or all will find their way into the upcoming Venom film.

Much of the film’s details are being kept under wraps, while Marcel writes the screenplay. Avi Arad, Matt Tolmach, Amy Pascal, and Hutch Parker are also producing.

Outside of the Venom franchise, Marcel is well known for writing the screenplay for 2013’s Saving Mr. Banks and kicking off the Fifty Shades of Grey franchise with the script for the first film in 2015, which have all helped to create ah her super diverse catalog.
