Toby Jones and Rafe Spall are in talks to join Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard in the sequel to Jurassic World.
Universal and Amblin Entertainment are gearing up for another chapter in Jurassic World franchise- According to Variety, sources say producers are getting ready to test for two other key roles but wanted to get these offers out before making choices. It is unclear who Jones or Spall will be portraying or what direction the next chapter will go in while plot details remain unknown.
J.A. Bayona remains in the director’s chair with Frank Marshall producing. Colin Trevorrow will also executive produce with Steven Spielberg.
Jurassic World dominated at the box office in 2015 landing the biggest domestic box office opening of all time with $205 million, placing it in the top five highest-grossing rankings for domestic and worldwide.
Jones will next be seen in The Coldest City with James McAvoy and Charlize Theron as well as The Snowman with Michael Fassbender. Spall, who appeared in Cameron Crowe’s series Roadies, will next be seen in the Niall Johnson drama Mum’s List.
The Jurassic World Sequel hits theaters June 22, 2018.
