Thor Really Needs a Hobby in “Team Thor: Part 2” Sneak Peek from Marvel’s ‘Doctor Strange’ Blu-Ray

Being left out of the fight has really been making the god of thunder quite the burden, lately.

Marvel Studios has released a sneak peek of one of the bonus features found on their upcoming Doctor Strange home video release, available now on digital copy and on Blu-Ray February 28th.

“Team Thor: Part 2, Where Are They Now?” is the follow up to the “Team Thor” short featured on the Captain America: Civil War Blu-Ray and digital copy.

In both shorts, Chris Hemsworth’s Thor Odinson documents his less-than-mighty life back on Earth. He spends his days trying to piece together the mystery of “purple guy” Thanos and the Infinity Stones on a bulletin board, wondering why he was left out of the debate of Tony Stark and Steve Roger’s little disagreement, and making life difficult for his Australian roommate, Darryl.

Both these shorts are a fun little dive into the mundane life of a civilian in the Marvel Universe and also serve to fill the blanks and build hype before Thor’s next major theatrical appearance, Thor: Ragnorok, due out November 3rd.

Thor: Ragnorok, which is sure to make “a gazillion human dollars”, is set to team Thor up with fan-favorite, The Incredible Hulk, and newcomer Doctor Stephen Strange, on what has been described by the studio as a “galactic road trip”. Mark Ruffalo and Benedict Cumberbatch return in their respective roles, along with Thor staples Tom Hiddleston and Anthony Hopkins as Loki and Odin.

Austin Allison: Born and raised in Tucson, AZ, I have been obsessed with cartoons, animation, and film in general for as long as I've known how to talk and draw. From Disney animation to indie movies, filmmaking was always the purest form of art to me. I majored in Film and Television Studies and minored in Studio Art at the University of Arizona. The greatest aspect of studying film was developing a creative and critical eye for a medium that I had loved for so long, but couldn't explain why I loved it until now.
