The Walking Dead Reveals Feature Film Teaser at End of Comic Con Panel

At the end of an emotional San Diego Comic Con panel (read more about it here), panel moderator revealed special treat for the fans present, the very first teaser for the first promised feature film set in The Walking Dead universe. The twenty-four second trailer shows only an animated helicopter flying towards a cityscape (presumably the helicopter that Rick Grimes was stolen away in by character Jadis to an unknown community wanting what they ominously referred to as an “A”). A final title card simply stated: RICK GRIMES RETURNS ONLY IN THEATERS. While not announcing a release date for the film, they did announce that it would be released by Universal Pictures. See the full teaser below. The panel also featured the confirmation that Black Panther Danai Gurira would indeed be leaving the show before the end of this upcoming season.
