DC Studios has shared a sliver of more footage in the Supergirl teaser trailer. Earlier today, the Supergirl X account posted a video with the caption, “See you tomorrow. #Supergirl”

The footage includes Milly Alcock as Superman’s cousin Kara Zor-El. Alcock was announced as Supergirl back in January of this year and even made an appearance in Superman. Earlier in the week, James Gunn shared video teasing that the trailer would be released this week.

Along with this video, DC Studios shared a poster for the film with the tagline “Truth. Justice. Whatever.”

Aldock will be the second actor to headline her own Supergirl movie, after Helen Slater starred in one in 1984, within the same universe as Christopher Reeve’s Superman. The 2026 film is directed by Craig Gillespie from a screenplay written by Ana Nogueira.

The film is adapting the Tom King and Bilquis Evely’s Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow comic series that ran for eight issues between 2021 and 2022. The critically acclaimed book was nominated for an Eisner Award for Best Limited Series. When Gunn announced the initial slate, the series was immediately sold out.

Along with Alcock, Jason Momoa is making a return to the DC Universe, this time as the famous bounty hunter, Lobo. Momoa previously portrayed Aquaman in the DCEU. Krypto, who first appeared in Superman, is also making a return.

Supergirl is set to release on June 26, 2026. Check out the video below, and check back tomorrow for the official Supergirl teaser trailer.
