The Final Trailer For ‘Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker’ is Out

The Luke Skywalker saga is about to come to an end and we have just gotten our last first taste of it with the release of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker trailer. Check out the action-packed and bittersweet *final* trailer below.

The main cast includes the late Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega and Oscar Isaac. Joining them are Anthony Daniels, Naomi Ackie, Domhnall Gleeson, Richard E. Grant, Lupita Nyong’o, Keri Russell, Joonas Suotamo, Kelly Marie Tran, and returning newcomers Ian McDiarmid and Billy Dee Williams.

If you’ve been living under a rock since 1977, the final film in the nine film Star Wars saga will be the last planned film following Hamill’s Luke Skywalker and his friends in a galaxy far, far away. This isn’t necessarily the last film in the Star Wars universe though. Of course, J. J. Abrams is back to direct, but he’s also produce The Rise of Skywalker with Kathleen Kennedy and Michelle Rejwan. The film’s executive producers are Callum Greene, Tommy Gormley and Jason McGatlin.

The previous Star Wars film, 2017’s The Last Jedi, made $1.333 billion on a budget of $200–317 million and has an approval rating of 91% Certified Fresh on Rotten Tomatoes, despite polarized reception from audiences. This upcoming film will probably make within the same range, on par with other Disney films this year.

Do you agree based on the trailer? Let us know what you think. Star Wars: The Rise of Luke Skywalker will be released in theaters on December 20, 2019.
