The Wrap recently confirmed from multiple sources that Relativity’s The Crow reboot will begin production in January.
Most recently, the rumor circulating as to who would play the slain rock star was put to rest when Jason Momoa posted a picture with the director Corin Hardy accompanied with the hashtag “#sealthedeal.”
Momoa will go right to work on The Crow after he completes shooting Justice League where he appears as Aquaman. First introduced to audiences around the world in Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice, Momoa will reprise his role as the aquatic hero for third time in his own standalone film directed by James Wan in 2018.
The classic comic written by Jame’s O’Barr will get a new adaptation that sources say will be loyal to the comic book source material. After poet and guitarist Eric Draven and his fiancée are murdered, he returns from the dead a year later seeking justice.
Putting their bankruptcy behind them, Relativity is forging on ahead with The Crow as a priority project as they look to be considered a big name in Hollywood again.
