‘The Amazing Spider-Man 3’ Demanded By Fans After ‘No Way Home’ Debut

Following the release of Spider-Man: No Way Home, The Amazing Spider-Man 3 has become a trending topic on Twitter, with fans posting their support for the completion of Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man series. The latest Spider-Man film brought back several familiar faces from old and new Marvel movies, as Doctor Strange’s (Benedict Cumberbatch) spell goes wrong and pulls them in across the multiverse. The film advertised the return of old villains such as Green Goblin (Willem Dafoe), and Doc Ock (Alfred Molina), but kept the return of a few a secret.

Although Spider-Man: No Way Home contains various surprises throughout the film, the two that got the most excitement was the return of Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield reprising their roles as Spider-Man. Maguire played the role in Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man trilogy, and Andrew Garfield succeeded him in The Amazing Spider-Man films by Marc Webb.

According to ScreenRant, The Amazing Spider-Man wasn’t planned to end where it did, but the poor critical reception paired with the hacking of Sony that revealed their plans for the franchise moving forward, the sequel was eventually cancelled. Little less than ten years later, Garfield has slipped back into his suit, and now fans are demanding for The Amazing Spider-Man 3.

As much as fans would love to witness the return of Garfield in a third solo film, producer Amy Pascal is currently focused on developing three other films for Tom Holland’s Spider-Man.  For now, you can check out Garfield in Spider-Man: No Way Home playing in theaters everywhere.
