Teen Comedy ‘Honored’ Produced by Zoe Saldana Adds Four New Stars

The upcoming comedy film Honored has just added a bunch of new names to draw in audiences, all of whom are apt selections for a teen-focused film. They have selected an impressive roster of four well-known younger actresses: Sasha Pieterse (Pretty Little Liars), Arden Cho (Teen Wolf), Karrueche Tran (Only for One Night), and Megan Rienks (Freakish) will all star in the film. As Pieterse and Cho are fresh off successful teen shows, their casting is especially apt and will most likely improve box office sales.

They are all set to play a group of four former high school friends who have stopped talking throughout the years. Nonetheless, this estrangement is not permanent, and an unfortunate event catalyzes a reunion between the girls, driving the rest of the wild action of the film.

The team of actresses will be working aside talented costars, with names like Graham Sibley (Sully), Chris Mason (Between Two Worlds), Lauren Weedman (The Five Year Engagement), and Ethan Peck (In Time).

The movie will be housed at Lionsgate Digital and produced partly by Zoe Saldana through her company, called Zoe, Cisely and Mariel Saldana’s Cinestar Pictures. Elissa Down (The Black Balloon) is slated to direct.

Currently, the film is poised for release in 2018.
