Famed actor Taye Diggs has recently signed on to be represented by the agencies A Management Company and Global Artists Agency. Diggs has made no explicit reason for this decision, but his new management can help him sign onto more projects as soon as the strikes conclude.

Diggs has had an illustrious career spanning nearly two decades from film to theatre. In Broadway, Diggs was well-renowned for his roles in musicals like landlord Benny from Rent, which he would later reprise for its film adaptation, and the titular Hedwig and the Angry Inch. He would continue his musical roles in films like Chicago and My Little Pony: The Movie (2017). He has also branched out to more dramatic parts throughout the years, especially in his five-season run in All American as former NFL player turned high school football coach Billy Baker.

Currently, Diggs can be found playing businessman Lance Herndon in the two-part BET+ true crime film Love & Murder: Atlanta Playboy. The miniseries focuses on the real-life Herndon’s life and death, from revolutionizing Atlanta’s 911 system to his murder. A controversial figure, the series explores the different allegations and motives for his murder.

From a possible return to All-American to his role as King Triton in the upcoming Ariel Disney Junior show, Diggs’ career is taking an upturn lately, which can hopefully be further revived through his collaboration with his new representation.
