‘Swiss Army Man’ Directors Re-Team With A24 On ‘Everything Everywhere All At Once’

A24 is reuniting with director combo Dan Kwan and Daniel Scheinert for an upcoming science fiction adventure comedy entitled Everything Everywhere All At Once, according to Deadline. A24 recently locked up a deal to fund and distribute Everything Everywhere All At Once and is currently on track to commence production in Los Angeles as the week comes to a close. The film features a diverse cast starring Michelle Yeoh, Stephanie Hsu (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel), James Hong, Ke Huy Quan, and Jamie Lee Curtis.

The studio previously collaborated with the Daniels by distributing their feature debut comedy-drama film Swiss Army Man, which experienced surprising success as a sleeper film during the 2016 Sundance Film Festival. Swiss Army Man starred Paul Dano, Daniel Radcliffe and Mary Elizabeth Winstead and told the story of a marooned man (Dano) who comes across a corpse (Radcliffe) who can be manipulated like a Swiss army knife.

Everything Everywhere All At Once was initially a project Joe and Anthony Russo were interested in undertaking for their AGBO banner, but Kwan and Scheinert quickly outbid them for the project. A24 will accompany the duo as chief producers, though The Russo Brothers, Ley Line Entertainment, and Jonathan Wang will also play a part in the film’s production. Eli Bush, Mike Larocca and Scott Rudin are in charge of executively producing the film next to Josh Rudnick.
