A new image from James Gunn’s Superman movie shows a fresh look at David Corenswet as the new Man of Steel, and Gunn’s version of the Fortress of Solitude. The film’s July release and Superman’s return to the big screen is quickly approaching. Audiences have been anxiously awaiting Gunn’s adaptation of the famed hero, this film is the foundation of the DC Universe. More films and TV shows in the DC Univserse following Superman include a Supergirl film, a Swamp Thing film, the Lanterns TV show, Waller TV show, following Amanda Waller, and Peacemaker season two.
ScreenRant debuted an exclusive first-look image from the Superman movie ahead of its summer release. The image shows Corenswet suited up as Superman in his Fortress of Solitude, having a conversation with Krypto the Super-Dog, who looks like he’s not fully listening, while the robots of the fortress, shown in the most recent trailer, stand by and listen to the conversation. Some more robots are in the background and appear to be on a sort of standby mode. Check out the full image here. Based on the new look of the fortress, it is apparent that Gunn’s Superman will be more lively compared to other iterations of the character.
James Gunn’s Superman flies in theaters on July 11.
