As featured in Collider‘s Exclusive Preview for Summer 2026, new images of Supergirl have been released to the public. The image shows Kara Zor-El moving though a Smokey sky as she flies and her cape encapsulates her adventures that are yet to come. View the image below:
Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow centers around Kara Zor-El after living in Superman’s shadow. She takes a break from her superhero role to celebrate turning 21. During her 21st birthday, she meets alien girl Ruthye Marye Knoll whose father was murdered by Krem of the Yellow Hills. Ruthye and Kara team up to get some revenge to track Krem. The original comic’s goal was to focus on Kara’s introspection of her memory of Krypton as she experiences loss while Superman experienced life on earth whilst not recollecting what Krypton had at stake and did not experience loss for himself.
The film stars Milly Alcock (House of the Dragon, A Place to Call Home) as the titular character, Eve Ridley (3 Body Problem, Peppa Pig) as Ruthye Marye Knoll, Krypto as himself, Jason Momoa (Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, Game of Thrones) as Lobo and Matthias Schoenaerts (Far From the Madding Crowd, Our Souls at Night) as Krem of the Yellow Hills. The director of the sci-fi action film is Craig Gillespie (Cruella, I, Tonya). Ana Nogueira (The Michael J. Fox Show, The Vampire Diaries) wrote the screenplay.
Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow will be released June 26, 2026.
